Danielsson Motorsport virtual team one clinched the title after a season long battle with

Roaring Pipes Maniacs. It was a great day for Danielsson Motorsport as team two ended

the season on the third podium step.

The race was won by Mike Simian in the newly painted FlatOut car ahead of the RPM

twins Kaukola and Haba.

Team spokesman Ross Balfour of series runners up Roaring Pipes Maniacs had these

words after the season: “The season for me was brilliant! The add-on mod was fantastic

and really give the series and extra kick. The cars physics, sounds and skins were all

jaw-dropping and each car was made to be identical, only slightly different characteristics.

David and Xose have worked so hard to made this season happen, and without them, we

would be sitting bored on a Thursday night. Also Eckhart, Andreas and Mark's

commentary was brilliant!

The season for us was up and down. The highlight for RPM was the 3-4 for Rami and

Marcin after qualifying dead last in Portimao. I think Rami made over 50 passes that race!

We also were very consistent and had lots of podium finishes. I would like to thank all the

guys at RPM for the work and results that got out of this season. However, on the downside

we didn't quite get a victory this year. Marcin had the win taken off him in Sugo and Dragos

in Trois-Riveres. Also, Marcin had steering wheel problems after being in the lead in

Donnington.

So there has been our bad share of luck, maybe not as bad as DHR Simcraft, who

unfortunately weren't in the championship hunt with us. Grats to DMSv and grats to Roland

Ehnstrom on taking a massive 4 wins! and also well done to DMSv2 for taking the 3rd spot.

Great season to all and thanks for anyone who took part, hope next season we can go

back to the #1 spot again!

DMSv Team Manager John Westerlund : “Winning the crown as well as having our “junior”

team on the podium in the toughest team championship is a worthy conclusion of DMSv’s

best season so far. Huge thanks to all involved in STC both organizers, commentators,

competitors and all the people involved over at the DMSv camp! We all need a good long

vacation before planning next season and before we decide if we will be back to defend

our title. I hope format discussions will sort itself out in a manner that makes it possible

to return because we really enjoy the racing here. My nerves would probably like a different hobby thou…

STC wishes you all a great summer!
