RPM GP at NördsSome drivers commented their experience at the Nörds after yesterday's race.

Peter Duivelaar (RPM)

"I am very happy with the pace I had tonight. Roland and me were driving the same lap times, only his strategy was much smarter.
Congratulations to Roland for winning this race!"

Mike Wrigtson (DHR GP)

"I  just don't believe it. Set a new PB in qually for 12th on the grid, then in the race the telemetry showed 15%-25% wet, which should have been absolutely fine on slicks. Instead, I have no grip, can't stop and off the track twice in the first minute and damage to the car

Thought it must be wetter than the telemetry suggested, so pitted for wets. They overheated in 2 minutes. Pitted again and switched back to slicks. Still having grip problems but getting used to it and my laptimes were getting better.

Caught and passed Neil who had just been in for his stop, then I had to pit straight after for tyres and fuel. Caught Neil up again and passed him, and with a couple of retirements, I ended up with 15th place.

Found out afterwards that my pedals had de-calibrated, so nothing was happening until they were halfway down their travel."

Thor Qualmann (DHR GP)

"Had a good race in the first two or three laps, was right between Roland and Peter... The BMW's seemed very fast, so I had to push the Vette a bit over the edge to keep up with them.
This resulted in a lock up, and a trip into the wall. At the same time it took me out of the rythm and I maked som really bad, stupid mistakes afterwards.

I am sorry for the crash I made in the pit-out section, Lee Ross, I hope you didn't take too much damage in it."

Michael Hart-Jones (AnE)

"Well, team ANE had the worst time ever. One no show so I have no choice but to come out, I really do not like Nords but hey, the other driver, Nick, could not join the server.

I had a major problem with quali, Every time I came to the bridge at Flugplatz I hit an invisable wall, it was still there in warmup. I hoped and prayed it would clear for the race. As both the Garcia's should confirm they pulled off to start the race and..........THWACK. The wall is STILL there and I destroy the front of my car.

Needless to say, I am not happy."

Andreas Löffler (TBR)

"Because of the bad luck disconnect of Bram i started 5th and could pass Kevin on P4 after the start (Hope it was ok, not too early).

In the first sector i could make a gap to P5 but in S2 and S3 i was losing much time. In lap 5 i made a mistake and lost P4 to Lee from Flatout to P5.

I was thinking that maybe it´s too wet for dry tyres and change to wet tyres but this was the wrong decision.

I lost much time and had two crashes, so i change back to dry tyres one round later. Was now on P10 and could pass John in the Corvette and Gaetan in the Porsche on P8. 20 sec behind Gary but unfortunately i spun in the fast lefthander and lost my splitter, so again to pit for repairing.

Till now the car was really slidy which cause a next mistake and bring me a hole in my right front tyre. Had a long way to pit and felt back behind my teammate Mikael. In pit (4th. one) change again tyres.

Was wondering that still in 15th which i could upgrading on i guess P13 but now i notice that the fuel dont reach for the last lap so pitstop number 5 and refueling for last lap.

Could pass again Gaetan in last lap and finish P12 because of the bad luck of Gary.

I was thinking we get a dry race and now i guess for this conditions i had too less downforce on the back. I was sliding all the time which cost me finally a better result.

Anyway sorry to my team for my many mistakes, maybe a top 5 result was possible, i´m dissappointed from myself too."
