With two days to go the teams of STC have made the long journey from the desert track in Bahrain
and is ready to meet the spring at the undulated track of Portimao on the outskirts of Algarve.

The track is one of the trickiest on the STC roster combining high speed straits, down hill braking
and off camber corners that will seriously test the handling of the cars as well as stamina and
concentration of the drivers.

New to the series for this season is multiple tire choices and it will be interesting to follow the different
strategies employed by the teams. At least early indications from STC meteorologist is promising
fair weather for race day.
