Danielsson Motorsport Virtual and its drivers Roland Ehnström and Ludde Andersson took a solid double victory in the second round of the Blue Cup. Andersson started on pole and took an early lead with his teammate close behind. Two others who stuck with the two swedes in the beginning was TBR's Gregory Degreef and Project D's Gaëten Legastelois. These two would continue to fight throughout the entire race.

Andersson let his teammate pass and Ehnström could pull away from the three and eventually also Andersson could open up a gap. Two drivers that were lurking in the shadows were the two RPM Marcos's with Marcin Skrzypczak and Rami Kaukola behind the wheels. They were far up the order in the sessions before qualifying but after hitting trouble they hade to share the last row on the grid. That didn't prevent the two from driving fast and with a clever one stop strategy they found them selfs in 3rd and 4th respectivly when the chequered flag was waved.

Another pair of teammates that had a good run was the Project D guys (Legastelois and Ludovic Cogotti). They drifted apart a little in the middle of the race but soon found eachother again and in the end they ended up 5th and 6th with Degreef close behind in 7th. The TBR driver who early on was up on the podium opted for a two stopper that in the end didn't pay off. Same went for Legastelois and a few others.

Robin Johansson for DMSv2 brought his BMW Z4 over the line in a fine 8th. He started 4th but had some very eventfull first few laps that saw him dropping outside top 10 for a little while. All in all the Algarve circuit hosted a great race with battles in many and it also brought the first points of the season to DHR Apex, Corse Online and [AnE] Degen.
