Gameracer FlatOut Racing has been crowned STC champions after scoring enough points to hold off Roaring Pipes Maniacs in the title race. The Hamilton street circuit became a tough and dramatic race for many reasons.

RPM had to give it all and hope for some luck aswell. Peter Duivelaar drove a superb race for the Dutch squad and won the race with the healthy margin of 22 seconds. But beind him finished the "wrong" car, the FlatOut car of Kevin Clark. He had also a big gap the the drivers behind but there it was a closer fought battle between three drivers. Robin Johansson beat his Gubbklubbens teamamte, Peter Carlsson, with just over a tenth of a second to take thrid. Behind the two Swedes finished Project D's Sebastien Levret, only 3 seconds off.

Marcin Skrzypczak in the second RPM car finished in 5th and the question then was if the other FlatOut car of the race would score enough to stay ahead in the standings. Keith Barrick, driving his first race for FDR, finished behind in 6th and behind him came Corse Online's Massimo Martin. Then the relief for the FlatOut team set in as Adam Shaw brought his car home in 9th after hitting trouble in the race losing his rearwing in an incident with an unscheduled pitstop as result. With this result the Gameracer FlatOut Racing team won their first STC title with only a 6 points difference to RPM. David Clark in the FlatOut Club car finished off top 10 right behind his sister teams car.
