Gubbklubben scored its first STC win when the series headed to Japan and a rain hit Sugo for round four of this seasons Blue Cup. Robin Johansson took the lead after pole sitter Rami Kaukola (RPM) made a mistake in the beginning. From there on Johansson held the lead for a number of laps before losing it to Peter Duivelaar (RPM) for a moment. But he re-gained the lead and was able to secure Gubbklubbens first STC win by only .7 of a second ahead of the young dutchman.

Kaukola finished 3rd after having to let the two up front pull away. Flying Canadian Racing had another great run with Tyler Scurlock in a lonely 4th. FCR's sister team Flying Dutchman Racing finished 5th with Yuri Braham beind the wheel.

The reigning champions, Gameracer FlatOut Racing, had a pale showing compared to what they usually are able to do. Despite that both cars finished in the top ten with Risto Kappet, who got spun before the green flag, in 6th and Adam Shaw in 10th.

FlatOut Club racer Ben Tusting had a great race coming from behind after a qualifying misshap. He ended the race in 7th, only three tenths behind Kappet. Gubbklubben also got their second driver of the day inside the top ten with Bosse Johansson finishing in 8th ahead of Kelvin van der Linde (FCR) in 9th.
