Hello from the warmy Ibiza,

we had to move there in order to meet the FDR guys, Hugo Hekkenberg and Yuri Braham, as they where on his hollydays. After making some room in the hotel terrace, and asking the nice ladyes to "move over" as our BFR mates would have done we finally got a nice seat with magnificents views over the city and the mediterraneum.

OK, so the first question was for Hugo Hekkenberg.

DG: So Hugo, why FDDr have been created, and what´s the team aim for the upcomig season?
HH: FDD stands for Flying Dutchman Development. The team has arisen from the FDR and FCR team that we merged together after last STC season. All the top notch drivers will drive under the flag of the FDR team is the upcoming STC season. To give all the FDR drivers a change to get behind the wheel in STC (or any other league) we decided to build a second team, the FDD team. In this team there is room for drivers that can drive a simgame, but just can't get on that podium. The aliens help the midfield runners to a higher level, that's the goal. How do you make a setup and what is the best strategy to finish a race? Familiar questions for a seasoned simracer, but o so difficult for a newbie. The FDD team is the ideal step to become a better driver and to be a part of the FDR group.

Time for Yuri Braham, preparing himself to answer my question after a loooong drink on a HUGE and cold beer. Spanish Estrella Levante beer.

DG: So Yuri, could you please let us know about both teams goals for the last season in the current sim?
YB: The goal for the FDR team in this STC season is the same as last season, a spot on the podium. For this year we have set up a practice server and all the times that we driver there will be stored and shown on our new website www.FDR-team.com . The goal for the FDD team is to finish all the races and get as high in the ranking as possible. Less pressure, but just as competitive as the FDR team.

DG: Guys in order to finish the interview and let you enjoy your sunny days, one last question. Who you think will be your maximum competitor in the series?
YB & HH: FDD's biggest competitors? All the teams on the grid. And for the FDR team we think we will meet the Gubbklubben & FOC a lot, but the team every team shoud fear and be really scared of and with the real potential to win this season will be TBR in our opinion.
