Jesper Taulborg won the 8th round of the STC season at Sugo, Japan. Early on in the race he fought with Gubbklubbens Robin Johansson but the Swede went off track and received a stop&go. Instead it was the sister team of Flying Dutchman Racing, FDD's Yuri Braham who finished 2nd.

Johansson managed to clinch 3rd in the end but only a few seconds ahead of WBR's Dino Paolini. Paolini was then seven seconds ahead of Alexandre Caetano (ABR). Wesley Hartog (FDD) finished 6th fighting off Daniel Beck of Gubbklubben. Kane Lasky for Torrent Motorsports managed to just fend off Fortunato Fiorito of Corse Online for 8th. Only .2 of a second seperated the two. The Black Rebels driver Kevin Ledoux rounded up the top 10.
